Considered by many locals and tourist alike to be the “best ice cream shop on Cape Cod”, The Ice Cream Smuggler is now celebrating its 27th season as the # 1 choice for ice cream in Dennis. Located on Route 6A in the heart of historic Dennis Village, “The Smuggler” as it is affectionately known, is within walking distance of the Cape Playhouse, the Village Green/Bandstand, and the Cape Museum of Fine Arts. New owners Paul and Carter Catalano invite you to try The Ice Cream Smuggler’s 27 homemade ice cream flavors and 4 frozen yogurt varieties. Also included on the menu are sherbets and sorbets as well as sugar-free ice cream. Cones can be served in sugar, cake, waffle, chocolate dipped sugar, chocolate dipped waffle, and chocolate dipped waffle bowls. In addition to cones, the Smuggler serves sundaes, brownie sundaes, banana splits, frappes, malts, ice cream sodas, and freezes made with sherbet or sorbet. Hand packed pints and quarts may also be purchased. The staff here at the Smuggler is always ready to serve you and your table is waiting inside or outside!

Smuggler's has so many flavors you can find something new each time you go. My personal favorites are the black raspberry and grasshopper (mint w/ oreos). Ample seating inside and out front. Only con is that they're only open until 10:30.
