Scargo Pottery was opened in the summer of 1952 by Harry Holl. The gallery and studio that stand today represent a kind of work in progress that has evolved and changed over the years to accommodate the innovations and ideas that are the products of perseverance. A strong background in the visual arts with an emphasis on sculpture eventually led Harry to the field of ceramics. The close integration of practical knowledge of an art and a prosperous living environment in which to produce it, became the motivation factors behind the founding of Scargo Pottery.

The outdoor gallery is so interesting to walk around. My daughters and I have found some fabulous pieces there for gifts when you want something different and special that you won't find somewhere else. One of my daughters made a castle in college that I would love to display outside in my yard like they do.
They have been in Dennis for years and the quality is superb
A beautiful studio set back off of 6A adjacent to Scargo Lake. You can walk around the studio and the gallery (some of which is outdoors) and be mesmerized by the unique pieces of work. All of the artists are so talented. I take all guests here to witness this unique gallery first-hand.
