I think Marshside recently got a renovation / much needed facelift. I haven't checked it out recently, but the food and the porch seating looking out on the marsh was always spectacular.
Awesome fresh fish in a beautiful setting. Those hot summer days where you can venture out to the picnic table with a fresh lobster roll or clam strip plate are unforgettable (Un)official (?) BYOB too.
I love Cooke's. They have some of the freshest tasting fish-fry out there. The portions are absolutely colossal. The platter comes w/ scallops fish and shrimp (do yourself a favor and sub the clams) and is a great deal.
Every time I past Captain Frosty's on 6A entering Dennis Village, I get all nostalgic for the days when I hadn't yet seen "the light" (read: didn't eat seafood). I used to get a hot dog or burger (they ain't bad) here everytime while my family gorged on fried clam strips or scallops to my complete disgust.
Sooner or later, I took the bait tried the fish and chips, found it an ok vehicle to eat a lot of ketchup. Then came the onion rings, then one time you accidentally eat a clam strip and say: "hey that's not that awful." Soon enough you're ordering a fisherman's platter or a clam (bellies and all) plate all for yourself. Captain Frosty's played a big part in teaching me how to love seafood; for that I will be eternally grateful.
To this day I still visit, and almost every time I go down to the Cape, I end my trip with a cup (no cone) of coffee soft serve with chocolate sprinkles on the way out of town.
Smuggler's has so many flavors you can find something new each time you go. My personal favorites are the black raspberry and grasshopper (mint w/ oreos). Ample seating inside and out front. Only con is that they're only open until 10:30.
The Provincetown Art Association is a very cool museum on Commercial Street minutes from the town center. They have unique rotating exhibits -- my favorite was an exhibit on Cape Cod experimental architecture that they had last summer. The lay out is very manageable and it is definitely worth a visit when visiting Provincetown.
Definitely one of the more recognizable restaurants on Martha's Vineyard if not all of Cape Cod and it doesn't disappoint. The open kitchen, hardwood floors and waterfront view contribute to a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The food is great too -- I love the pan seared sea scallops as well as the sesame crusted salmon.
A beautiful studio set back off of 6A adjacent to Scargo Lake. You can walk around the studio and the gallery (some of which is outdoors) and be mesmerized by the unique pieces of work. All of the artists are so talented. I take all guests here to witness this unique gallery first-hand.
Simply one of my favorite places to watch a movie ever. Right next to the world-famous Cape Playhouse, this isn't a "cinema" as much as its a single screen. If my history is correct, it hosted the grand opening of The Wizard of Oz way back when.
They have a new movie each weekend with nightly showings (up to three on Saturdays). The facilities are great, and they have great popcorn. Be fore-warned, no cupholders on your seats.
Cobies is an awesome roadside clam shack along 6A in Brewster. If you're not into fish, they also make a mean burger. Ice cream is very tasty too. They re-did the patio/porch seating a few years back to make it much cleaner and family-friendly.
The best part about Cobies is that they have a special path off of the Cape Cod Rail Trail (bike path) for hungry bikers. Now a clam strip plate isn't the best idea when you're on a 10 mile bike ride, but you can stop for ice cream \and you'll be better for it.
Buckie's is an amazing little coffee shop and bakery in Dennis Village. They have great iced coffee and the BEST biscotti I have ever had. They usually have free samples out for you to try. They also have good cookies, cupcakes -- all the goodies. It's also below ground and stays nice and cool during the hot summer months.
